Well in reality any music that will get you pumped up, that is what you should listen to. But, if you don't know what gets you pumped up or what you should listen to, it comes down to the beats per minute (BPM) in the song. But for different activities, the BPM will be different.

Beats per minute is pretty cool. An article by OutsideOnline, says that "the faster the rhythm = the faster you move". So when you are trying to find music to listen to for your warm up, listen for how fast the beat is going. But how many beats per minute is just right for a pregame? The article stats that when you are doing strength training or cardio, you should listen to music around 110-140 BPM.
