We have been playing sports our whole lives on many different teams with many different coaches. Not once in our careers has a coach or a mentor told us about how music in our warm-ups can affect our play in a positive way. So we decided for our Capstone project at Chanhassen High School, to get information about the brain and music, to explain/show why athletes should think about what music they listen to in their warm-ups to better themselves in live action.

Where we are now |
Like all athletes, we want to be the best we can be. We have had bad games and good games but couldn't figure out why we played better on some days. After doing research on our project, we decided to give it a try to see if it actually works. We found that it does for ourselves.

We get together every few weeks to come up with a playlist of music that we like. But with this music we look for the high tempo beats that are needed to get our bodies and minds pumped up.
